The shrine of Sari-Salltik is located in a small cave on a cliff overlooking the city of Kruja and is a place of worship for the Bektashi faith. It is accessible by road, but also by a wonderful hiking trail, which is our preferred method of access! The trail covers a few thousand feet of elevation and is rated easy-intermediate due to its clearly defined path. Hiking the entire path from the city center to the temple will take approximately an hour or an hour and a half depending on speed. Once at the top you can enjoy the historical temple as well as a few cafes and restaurants within walking distance, some of which offer breathtaking views.
